Jenicka + Colin’s Timeless Ritz Carlton Boston Wedding
There’s not a doubt in my mind that Jenicka and Colin’s classic style will stand the test of time. From the ballroom setting to the white and silver color palette to their Rolls Royce entrance, no detail was overlooked and the result was a celebration that felt stunningly glamorous yet completely personal.
These two chose the Ritz Carlton in downtown Boston as the backdrop to their big day, and with its chandelier-lined ballroom and floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the Boston Common, it’s not hard to see why.
The day began with a first look where Jenicka surprised her soon-to-be by pulling up in a sleek Rolls Royce. It served as the perfect transportation to their ceremony and made for some beautiful photos in the process.
The ceremony featured a white modern chuppah and was officiated by the Rabbi from Jenicka’s family’s temple, making their exchange of vows all the more special.
During the transition to the cocktail hour, a harpist helped set the scene with elegant music as each guest found their calligraphy marble place cards handpicked by Jenicka herself. True to their classic-meets-modern city wedding vision, we dressed up the space in ivory florals, luxe linens, white Chiavari chairs, and textured silver chargers which took the entire reception design to the next level.
Coordinating and styling Jenicka and Colin’s big day was a dream not only because these two have impeccable tastes, but because they also happen to be my close friends. It’s hard to believe they were the very first wedding of Urban Soirée and I truly couldn’t have imagined a better celebration to kick-off my business.
Jenicka and Colin, here’s to you! Here’s to your love, your timeless style, and your beautiful wedding and relationship that still inspires me to this day.
